Shore Lines 2023: Bunbury’s Writing for Performance Festival
Bunbury's Shore Lines Writing Festival has opened for 2023! This is an annual writing competition providing to participants the unique opportunity to present their writing to a live audience. Winners will be announced, alongside shortlisted members, at the Shore Lines writing for performance event on Saturday the 21st of October at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre.
CALL FOR SEMINAR PRESENTERS

We are looking for eight excellent practitioners to deliver three one hour sessions focusing on Year 12 ATAR concepts. We are looking for presenters that can guide students in developing and consolidating knowledge of the Year 12 ATAR English course. Presenters can choose areas that they would like to focus on and are encouraged to present on their strengths and areas of interest.
Suggestions include, but are not limited to:

COMPREHENSION: Close reading skills and strategies.

COMPREHENSION: Deconstructing visual images.

COMPREHENSION: Deconstructing written texts.

RESPONDING: Focus on course concepts

RESPONDING: Revising texts (tips and tricks). Know your syllabus and glossary.

COMPOSING: Imaginative texts / flash fiction.

COMPOSING: Persuasive and interpretive texts.

Studying for the examination (and deconstructing the exam)
